Bluetooth Smart
The Blue Smart IP22 Charger is the wireless solution to monitor voltage and current, to change settings and to update the charger when new features become available.
High efficiency
With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat when compared to the industry standard. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption reduces to 0,5 Watt, some five to ten times better than the industry standard.
Adaptive 6-stage charge algorithm: test – bulk – absorption – recondition – float – storage
The Blue Smart Charger features a microprocessor controlled ‘adaptive’ battery management. The adaptive feature will automatically optimize the charging process relative to the way the battery is being used.
Storage Mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use
The storage mode kicks in whenever the battery has not been subjected to discharge during 24 hours. In the storage mode float voltage is reduced to 2,2V/cell (13,2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to ‘equalize’ the battery. This feature prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulfation, a major cause of early battery failure.
Also charges Li-ion batteries Li-ion batteries are charged with a simple bulk – absorption – float algorithm.
Fully discharged battery recovery function
Will initiate charging even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts. Will reconnect to a fully discharged Li-ion battery with internal disconnect function.
NIGHT and LOW setting When in NIGHT or LOW mode
The output current is reduced to max. 50% of the nominal output and the charger will be totally noiseless. The NIGHT mode automatically ends after 8 hours. The LOW mode can be ended manually.
Protected against overheating
Output current will reduce as temperature increases up to 50°C, but the Blue Smart Charger will not fail
Eleven LEDs for status indication
Charge algorithm: TEST / BULK / ABSORPTION / RECONDITION / FLOAT / STORAGE / READY. MODE button to set: NORMAL (14.4V) / HIGH (14.7V) / RECONDITION / LI-ION.

This is great. I am using the Victron IP22 15A 12V with 3 outputs charger to charge my 3 lithium ion batteries and it works like a charm; on that note you do need a Busbar in order to charge 3 batteries at once and keep in mind that it’s shared amperage. So far, I haven’t had any problems with it, it’s keeping my batteries healthy and charges it whit high efficiency.

I only trust the charger from Victron to charge my lithium ion batteries, unlike others it doesn’t damage it over time. The Victron IP22 12/15 charger is a professional device, it’s worth the extra money you pay for than the other cheap ones out there.

Pretty good charger, it’s got bluetooth connectivity where you can change the modes and setting. Highly recommended, it doesn’t damage your batteries. It’s got 7 charge algorithm test, bulk, abs, rec, float, storage, and ready. It’s a perfect design, one that I would never regret buying it.

This blue smart IP22 charger is amazing, it’s optimized to recover a fully discharge battery, can handle the cold as low as -20C, and it’s got several battery life enhancement. It’s an astounding Victron product, highly recommend it especially if you are charging lithium ion batteries; this is the safe bet.

The Victron blue smart IP22 charger is a high end product, a little pricey but worth every penny. If you have expensive lithium batteries like me who has 2 lithium each at $1200, then you better be using this charger. It keeps your batteries healthy and charges them with with several charge algorithm. Not worth risking your expensive batteries using other cheap chargers.

I love the fact Victron Energy offers various types of chargers and accessories. I have been buying their equipments for a long time, they never disappoint me; the Victron Blue Smart Charger IP22 12V 15A 3 outputs is a perfect example of that. It’s got built in Bluetooth interface, lithium battery mode, a bunch of charging algorithms to keep your batteries safe and healthy. Power consumption is low, it generates low heat, and doesn’t make noise. PERFECT!!

Amazing charger, but no cables which is a bummer. Would have been nice if it came with cables. Overall, I think you gonna like this charger, the Victron Blue Smart Charger IP22 12V 15A 3 outputs is a perfect piece of tech for your batteries.

The Victron 12V 15A with 3 outputs IP22 is a must, if you want a decent lithium battery charger, and can fill three batteries at the same time, this is it. One thing you should know is that if you planning on using it to charger 3 batteries at the same time, then you would need Victron busbar; otherwise it won’t work without it. As you know, this charger got built in Bluetooth, which means that you can connect your smartphone to it via Victron app. That helped me configure out the settings very easily.
